House. C15/C16 or earlier origin with later, including C18 alterations. Timber
framed and plastered. Hipped red plain tiled roof incorporating crosswing to
right. Off centre left and right red brick chimney stacks. 2 storeys. 3
window range of vertically sliding sashes with glazing bars, those to ground
floor with glazed margins. Off centre- right C20 gabled porch with original 6
panelled door. Lean-to left rear extension. Interior visible features include
inglenook fireplace with moulded mantel beam. Vertically boarded and panelled
doors with ironmongery. Chamfered bridging joists. Crosswing of 3 bays with
arched braces to tie beams. Large cambered tie beam to left range, this
originally arched braced.
