In the 1960's this was Ladbury's Garage with petrol pumps outside. You could stop and fill up without leaving the road. In the 1970's, the garage expanded northwards and later dealerships with new plate-glass frontages faced Mill Street and had their entrance there. 43 - 47 Burton Street was no longer needed and was leased or sold to other businesses.
