House with attached boundary wall and water pump. c1800, with
later C19 alterations. Coursed squared stone with rendered
brick front, with pantile roofs and 3 gable and single ridge
brick stacks, 2 of them rendered. Plinth, first floor band,
rebated eaves. 2 storeys; 3 window range. L-plan. Central
12-pane sash flanked by 16-pane sashes. Central 6-panel door
and overlight, also flanked by 16-pane sashes.
Left return has mainly metal framed casements, 2 to the ground
floor with segmental heads. Right return has attached to it an
unusual wooden cased double water pump. Outside, to left,
attached boundary wall, coursed squared stone with half-round
brick coping and plain gateway to right. Approx 10m long.
