Terrace of houses. Mid C19. Stucco. Roof not visible. Grand almost
symmetrical block. End houses set forward with Corinthian pilasters to first and
second floors. Three storeys plus attic and basement. Each house three windows
wide. Channelled stucco to ground floor. Ground floor windows arched in arched
recesses. Arched entrances in projecting Doric porches (the entrance to No 7 in
right hand return in enclosed porch). Continuous cast iron balcony to first
floor. First floor windows square headed with pediments to some of centre bays.
Second floor windows with segmental heads. Stucco architraves. Attic windows
arched. Very rich cornice above second floor; subsidiary cornice to attic and
balustraded parapet. Similar treatment to right hand return. Cast iron area
railings, possibly renewed.
