A house is known to have stood on. this site from 1347. The present house is C16,
timber-framed and plastered with 3 gables on the north front, The house has a
modern plaque which bears the date 1347. 3 window range, 2 and 3 light casements
with leaded lights. The doorway has a hood on shaped brackets. Roof tiled, with
2 large rectangular chimney stacks. (RCHM 8).
