A C18 timber-framed and plastered building, considerably altered. 2 storeys and
attics. 4 window range, C20 casements with glazing bars. C20 doors. Roof tiled,
half hipped, with a coved plaster eaves cornice and 3 gabled dormers.

The Crown Inn with Church of St Andrew, Sandon Place and outbuilding at Sandon Place
Rectory Road, The Forge, Post Office, and Cottage east of Post Office, Woodhill Road,
form a group.
