A CL8 timber-framed and plastered house, considerably altered. 2 storeys. The
Forge has C20 casement windows and a 4-panel door with a c19 ornamental iron porch
with a semi-circular head, The Post Office has C19 double hung sashes with vertical
glazing bars and a boarded door, Roofs tiled, hipped, with a coved plaster eaves
cornice. (Included for group value).

The Forge, Post Office and Cottage east of Post Office with Church of St Andrew,
Sandon Place and outbuilding at Sandon Place, Rectory Road and The Crown Inn,
Sandon Green form a group.
