Later C16 or early C17 merchants house, altered. An example of Pantin's right-angled
house type with broad plan, and a small version of "la maison a deux corps de batiments".
Early C19 front. 2 storeys and attic. 1 window. Welsh slate roof with old masonry
stack with red brick patching. Gabled attic with moulded bargeboard and bracketed
jetty. Timber-framed front with plaster finish. Architraved sash windows with
glazing bars; 1st floor window with 2 lights. Modern shopfront. Passage doorway
at west end with old board and batten door with wrought iron pegs, and decorative
