Since the listing, the row of cottages has been modernised. - All the glazing is C21 but the double glazed units are in the style of horizontal sashes. - No 26 has ventilators built into the stone rubble plinth. - The 'shuttered' C19 shop front to the left of the passage has been rebuilt to match the dwellings at No 26 and No 28. - The passage way is now the entrance hall to No 26A. - The doorway to No 28 has been blocked, it is now part of No 30 next door (beyond the end chimney stack) and see how the 1st floor windows line up. - No 30 is renumbered No 28.
