Broad, rectangular with moulded surround and relief cherubs heads in corners, to: John Mackley d.July 9th 1752 aet 47. -With deepest Thought Spectator view thy Fate / Thus Mortals pass to an immortal State / Thro Deaths dark Vale we hope he found a way / To the bright Regions of eternal Day / lifes but a moment, Death that moment ends / Thice happy he his moment wisely spends / For on that direful Point Eternity depends-.
