Slate headstone with ornamental lettering to Henry Boot d. 9th Aug 1728 aet 42. –All you that come to see my stone/ Think but how quickly I was gone/ Death doth not allways warning give/ Therefore be carefull how you live/ Repent in time no time delay/ I in short time was Snatched away-. At the bottom is inscribed -Mr Francis Boot erected this stone at his own charge-. (Photo Aug 2013).
