Terraced house. c.1736 by William Singleton, plasterer. Painted
brick, slate roof. Modest astylar front in Palladian canon. 3
storeys and basement with dormered mansard. Square headed doorway to
left in banded rusticated surround with tripled keystone lintel and
ground floor in same surround, as on Singleton's No. 12. 1st floor
windows have eared architraves with cornices, plain 2nd floor windows
under flat gauged arches. Parapet with coping. Plat band over ground
floor and 1st floor sill band. Wrought iron area railings. Very
little altered elevation of this date. Interior, which had good
plaster ceilings, much altered but retains plaster vault to
passage-hall carried on large consoles,and woodwork of upper part of
stairs.
