Terrace houses with shops. Late C18 pair, the attic storey probably C19
addition. Stock brick, concealed slate roof. 4 storeys. Each front 3 windows
wide. No 24 has frame of late C19 shop front with bracket-capped pilasters
and fascia, later C20 display window and door. No 25 has later C20 shop front but
retains house entrance to left with early C19 stucco architrave doorcase and
cornice on consoles framing semicircular arched opening with panelled door and
fanlight. Upper floors have recessed sashes, some retaining glazing bars, under
flat gauged red brick arches. Moulded and dentilled cornice across both fronts
over 2nd floor; parapet with coping.
