House. Possibly C17 in origin, dated IDP 1741 on ashlar front. Left bay and
rear are of coursed ironstone rubble; right bays refronted in ironstone ashlar
with Uppingham stone sill and lintel bands and raised first floor band course.
Thatched roof, rubble stone chimney between left bays rebuilt C20, brick chimney
with thin brick base to right. 2 storeys, 3 bays, left bay gabled to front.
Right bays have C20 paired leaded casements in raised Uppingham stone surrounds
with mullions removed. Door between right bays in similar surround, with
pulvinated panel, date plaque and fire insurance plaque above. Left bay has C20
paired leaded casements, 2 to ground floor; one above, and C20 door in thatched
porch. 2 stone mullion windows to first floor rear, the left re-sited.
Interior: stop-chamfered spine beam and chamfered fireplace lintel in centre bay.
