GV II
House. Late C18-early C19, with later C19 rear extension. Dressed and coursed
ironstone with Uppingham stone quoins. Welsh slate roof, coped gables with
moulded kneelers and red brick chimneys. L-plan. 2 storeys, 2 bays to front.
Projecting plinth. Paired wooden casements of later date with Uppingham stone
lintels and sills. Ground floor windows are transomed and have keyblocks, the
left moulded. Central 4-panelled door with marginally glazed fanlight, stone
lintel and 3 canted concrete steps. Single bay 2-storey extension to rear wing,
with C20 conservatory along right side. Included for group value.
