Accommodation bridge. c1827. William Crosley engineer. Coursed sandstone blocks with ashlar dressings. Horseshoe arch/eliptical head with voussoirs: the keystone is stressed: the band below parapet is chamfered, battered walls terminate in squared piers and the coping to the parapet is unchamfered.

NB One in a series of fine bridges (and mileposts) that survive on the Macclesfield Canal.
