Formerly known as Lowe House, now divided into 3 dwellings. Circa 1835,
in part to earlier timber frame. Stucco; 2 storeys; 2 projecting gabled
bays, 2 windows each; centre with one window and gable, porch under slate
lean-to roof and 2 doorways having doors with semi-circular headed glazed
panels. End bays each have a canted bay window tiered over 2 storeys,
with gabled and pointed roof; gabled ends; ornamental barge-boards to
all gables, some crowned with iron finials. Small modern porch bay set
back on right-hand side. The central portion of the building incorporates
earlier timber framed house, probably mid C17, and contains ceiling beams
(now excased) and good oak staircase having turned balusters and square
newels with massive ball-head finials.
