Accommodation bridge. c1827. William Crosley engineer. Coursed tooled sandstone blocks with ashlar dressings. Horseshoe arch (eliptical head) with voussoirs and a prominent (stressed) keystone that connects with a chamfered ashlar band beneath the parapet. Battered walls terminate in squared piers: coping to parapet. One in a series of fine bridges (and milestones) on the Macclesfield Canal.
