Pair of cottages. Late C17 with later alterations and additions. Timber framed
and plastered. Half hipped, gambrelled, red plain tiled roof, gabled wing at
rear. Off centre left red brick chimney stack. One storey and attics. 3
hipped dormer windows. 5 window range of various C19 vertically sliding sashes,
those to left with shutters. 2 C18 doorways, moulded capitals and bases to
pilasters, friezes, moulded flat canopies, C20 recessed doors. Large chamfered
bridging joists and exposed wall studs and side girts of good quality. Formerly
Sun and Anchor public house.
