TL 1892 (North Side)

18/189 Nos. 35 and 35A

GV II

House. C17 altered in C19 and C20. Timber-frame exposed and plastered,
painted brick, and rear walls of plastered and painted coursed limestone
rubble. Asbestos covered roof with brick end stacks and ridge stack to right
of centre. Two storeys and attic, original three bays extended to right hand.
Long continuous jetty underbuilt, exposed timber-frame with ogee braces to
post and wall plate. Two C20 doors, and three ground floor windows of various
sizes, six first floor casement windows. Interior: Complete timber-frame and
side purl in roof, later internal partitions and staircase. Stop-chamfered
ceiling beams.
