Country House. 1923/24 with later extension, by Sir Guy Dawber for Mr. McCreery. Local stone coursed rubble, ashlar dressings; hipped plain clay tile roof; tapered rubble chimney stacks with ashlar copings. Arts and Crafts style. 2 storeys, 'H'-plan; random fenestration to North front. Small pane casement windows with rubble quoins; bracketted eaves; central 2-storey porch of slight projection with flat roof behind stepped coping, with pair flush oak doors in architrave with flat stone hood on corbel brackets, above a full-length window in stylised ashlar surround, with wrought iron balcony. Rear elevation, South, of 2+2+2 bays with central French doors in architraved surround with segmental pediment; to East end a projecting flat roofed open loggia, then a masking wing wall. Other elevations in similar character. Interior very carefully detailed with very few alterations to the original design. Garden fully landscaped in the style of the day.
