Range of C18 cottages. Two storeys. Eight windows. Faced with flints, now
painted, with red brick dressings and quoins also stringcourse to No 1. Tiled
roof. Casement windows or sash windows with glazing bars intact. Small modern
bays on ground floor. No 4, Blythe Cottage is recessed and of lower elevation
with 2 gables. This may have been the original school of piddinghoe.
