Former School and School House. Dated 1847, now Village Hall. Local greensand stone with ashlar dressings; ornamented fish-scale clay tile roofs with plain gables; brick chimney stack; wooden bell turret with lead cupola roof and weathervane to North gable. One and 2 storeys; 5 bay roadside elevation of which bays 2 and 5 project. Chamfered mullioned and transomed windows with flat heads and labels mostly 2-light; in bay 2 flanked by smaller plain windows; door in return bay 2, and right of bay 4 a projecting porch with blocked 4-centre arched doorway, and datestone over; bay 5 is 2-storey and part of the school house, with plain 2-light chamfered windows repeated on south side; projecting
single-storey wing from South return.
