House C16 and C17 timber framed and painted brick with plain tile roofs. One storey
and attic. C17 West end crosswing, earlier range behind with smaller projecting wing
on South front, at East end. Original range is cruck framed with full crucks exposed
in East end gable. South front has one dormer above and door between two casements
below and projecting wing to right is close studded to ground floor with modern leaded
casements and square framed above with 4 small windows. North side has close
studding, door and 3 modern leaded casements. 3 dormers above, the central one
replacing a chimney. West end crosswing is square framed with large side wall outside
stack. 4-light ground floor window to West side. Gable ends have 4-light ground
floor windows, 2 small pairs of square lights above and 2-light attic windows. Queen
post roof trusses.
