Pair shops. C19 mostly. Local stone rubble, rendered on South front; flat roof; brick chimney stacks. 3-storeys, 3
bays. Early C20 shopfronts below, each with central recessed doorways; deep fascia to No 21, shallower-to No 23;
12-pane sash windows in plain surrounds to both upper floors separated by string course; bracketed wide eaves
overhang. Return on East elevation includes semi-circular headed windows to first floor, then low shop window, and
simple pilasters and hood to recessed part-glazed door. Interior not seen. The flat roof may be one of a series
installed in early C20 in Wincanton, as at No 5 Market Place (qv).
