Early C18. This was originally a farmhouse in the occupation of a Mr Richard Treadwell.
Later it was converted into 2 cottages for the use of Fairby Farm. Two storeys
plastered. Thatched roof with pentice behind. Five casement windows. Simple
penticed doorcase.
