C16 house, timber flamed with plaster infilling, of 2 storeys and H-plan. Tripartite
windows, partly original on first floor of both wings. Hall raised in C17 and
ridges now of same height. Roofs gabled and peg-tiled, 2 red brick chimney
stacks. (RCHM 6) Trans AMS Vol 1976.
