Situated at the junction between Swanmore Road and West Street. Island
site cast iron lamp standard flanked by two curved fronted horse troughs.
Square base with spouts each site. Plinth to shaft, the lower part
with four dolphins entwined, the upper part octagonal and tapering to
cross bar, with stiff leaf decoration. Lantern with finial. Inscription
on base states that it was presented to the town by Miss Brigstocke in
1888.
