A C15 to C16 timber-framed house restored, the 1st floor and part of the ground floor
close-studded, the 1st floor overhanging on the protruding ends of the floor joists and
a bressumer. Tiled roof. 4 diagonal braces on the 1st floor. 4 modern casement
windows and 2 modern bays on the ground floor. Large Victorian addition, with
conservatory at the west end. There is a well in the front garden near the main doorway
which has a sculptured stone surround and cast iron scrollwork over.

The descriptive notes should be amended to read:-
