Probably late C18 3 storey and attics brick houses stepped down-hill, later stucco
to fronts, sash windows, without glazing bars. Large square brick chimneys, gabled
dormers. Early and mid-C19 shop-fronts. Slate roofs. No 9 has an insurance plaque.
