Cottage and storehouse. 18th and 19th century. Random pennant rubble, some squared particularly the quoins and dressings, Welsh slate roof with ridge tiles. Two storey double depth range with C18 cottage to right and later store to the left now part of the cottage, this probably was built early C19 and converted mid C19. 5 bays to whole, the right hand two clearly a separate and older build as there is a straight joint with quoins. From left on ground floor, 16 pane sash, paired door and 6 pane sash in segmental head, small casement, 2 light case-ment in segmented head, plank door in flat head, modern casement in altered opening. First floor, 8 pane sash, and 4 two light casements. Over the door is the bricked up evidence of a former taking-in-door suggesting sometime storage for the upper floor. Lean-to wash house with brick chimney to right, brick lateral stack to left, rendered stack to main ridge and brick one to right gable. Interior not inspected but C19 plan form is reported as surviving. One room retains ceiling hooks and the left hand roof has an unusual construction of iron principal rafters supporting timber purlins. The best survivor of the buildings associated with Bullo Pill bargedock (AM) and tramway.
