ARKESDEN CLATTERBURY LANE TL 43 SE (west side) 16/1514 North Barn approx 80m North West of Wood Hall II GV

Barn. C16. Weatherboard over timber frame set on brick plinth; gabled corru- gated iron roof. Aisled 5-bay plan with off-centre midstrey to north. Plank double doors to threshing bay. Interior: jowled wall posts with arch bracing to tie beams and arcade plates; straight passing braces to studding, much of which is C19. 5-bay collar-truss roof with clasped purlins, side struts and rafters joined over ridge purlin; face-halved and bladed scarf joints.
