II
Cottage. Late C16, extended to rear in C17 and to ends in C18 and C20. Timber
framed on plinth, clad in whitewashed render on the front, brick end wall to
left and frame exposed to parts of rear with some cement render on brick infilling.
Plain tiled roof, half-hipped with ridge crest. Two storeys with corbelled end
chimney to right. Two diagonal C17 stacks to rear left on offset plinth. Three,
3-light,C20 first floor casement windows and 3 to ground floor under cambered
heads. Door to right of centre, part glazed, in open gabled porch. Gabled stair
vice to rear.
Interior:- Heavy spine ceiling beam exposed on foreground floor, old exterior
wall now preserved inside to rear.
