Early C19. Stock brick with cornice and stone blocking course. Roof of No. 402 slate, No 404 hipped mansard roof of corrugated asbestos. Three storeys, dormers and basements, three windows each, those of top two storeys with painted reveals and flat gauged arches, sashes, some with glazing bars. Iron balcony across first floor. Ground floor windows in recessed arches with impost bands. No. 404 stucco ground floor. Round headed doors with plain fanlights. Some wrought iron railings remain.

Nos. 396 to 410 (even) form a group.
