2 sections of balustrade along front of garden, with central cistern and left
end gate-piers and gates. C17, resited c.1925 from Beaudesert, Staffordshire;
C20 gate. Sandstone ashlar balustrade with brick alcoves; ashlar cistern;
ashlar gate-piers; wrought iron gate.
Dwarf ashlar walls support diabolo balusters with flat stone coping; pilastered
central panels in each, with some small eroded statues, flank brick alcoves
facing house. Low octagonal cistern has nosed coping. Tall gate pier at left
is square and corniced, with ball finial; right pier collapsed. Short wall to
left of left pier has serpentine spear-headed railing with spiked centre.
Gate, attached to left pier, of square-section linked scrolls, with serpentine
top.
