House, now convent and old peoples' home. Early-mid C18. Pebble-dash rendered
front and right return; coursed squared sandstone rear; ashlar dressings and
quoins; Welsh slate roof with ashlar and yellow brick chimney, and stone gable
coping. 2 storeys, 5 bays. Renewed door in C20 porch; sash windows with
glazing bars in architraves; right gable coping on moulded kneelers; ridge
chimney. Interior shows window shutters to most rooms; some 2-panelled
cupboard doors; dogleg stair with ramped grip handrail on column-and-vase
balusters.
C19 and C20 extensions at left and to rear are not of interest.
