C18 house of 2 storeys in stone with Welsh slate roof with brick stacks at gable
ends and with coped gable ends with kneelers. Modillion eaves cornice. Rusticated
quoins. 3 windows with long stone flat lintels with keystones, hung sashes with
glazing bars. Ground floor has 2 mid C19 canted bays. Door of 6 panels with
semi-circular fanlight with radiating bars and open pediment on console brackets,
panelled pilasters. 2 steps up, and curved iron handrail. Low stone forecourt
wall is attached. Right-hand section is lower, with 1 circular window with radiating
glazing bars above elliptical-arched carriage entry with rusticated head, blocked
fanlight and carriage doors.

Forest Vale Hotel and Wall form a group with Nos 1 to 7 (consec), 9 to 15 (consec),
17 to 22 (consec), 24 to 26 (consec), No 26A and No 27 of which Nos 7, 9, 10, 22
and 24 are of local interest.
