16/504 Sundial approx 7m east of
Groombridge Place

Sundial. Probably C18. Sandstone. Octagonal shaft with splayed base and
head, the former stepped and the latter above a projecting band. It stands on
an octagonal one-step plinth. Inscribed slate plaque on top but it is missing
its arm.
