Spring Cottage

House, formerly 3 cottages. Mid or late C18, restored in
1960s. Squared coursed sandstone with slate roof and gable
chimneys. 2 storeys, the right-hand bay said to be formerly of
3 storeys. 4 bays. Except for the second bay, the windows are
of 2 lights with flush mullions and timber casements with
glazing bars. The second bay has windows of one light with
stone surrounds; the ground-floor window is offset to the
right of a doorway with quoined surround. Between the third
and fourth bays there is a second, similar, doorway.
