GV II
House. Mid C18. Squared coursed sandstone with Welsh slate
roof. The gables have copings with kneelers, and those to the
main house have ashlar chimney caps. The main house is of 3
storeys and 2 bays and has flat-faced mullioned windows with
UPVC and timber casements and with 2 narrow sashes without
glazing bars to the second floor. The outer bays of the upper
floors have windows of 2 lights and the central bay has
one-light windows with their stone frames linked vertically to
enclose a blocked light between them. On the ground floor the
left-hand bay has a C20 bow window and the right-hand bay has
a 2-light window. Between them there are 2 openings: to the
left a doorway with stone surround and to the right a window
with an altered opening. At the left is a lower 2-storey wing
which has a timber casement window on the first floor. On the
ground floor there is a 2-sided canted uPVC window to the left
of a door opening which is now glazed.
