GV II

Presbytery and house, now convent. 1878. Possibly designed by George
Goldie. Coursed rubble with ashlar dressings and slate roofs with
coped gables and kneelers. 2 gable stacks. Quoins and flush ashlar
bands. Shouldered window surrounds throughout, all plain sashes.
Street front, 3 storey, 4 window facade. Off-centre doorway with
shouldered surround and overlight, to the left 2 sashes and to the
right 2 narrow sashes with between a buttress which supports a square
oriel window above. This oriel has 2 sashes, and to the left 3 pairs
of narrow sashes. Above 4 sashes with a single ventilation slit in
each gable. West front, has 3 storey 2 window block to right with a
central doorway in pointed arch surround, with fanlight and wooden
gable porch with bargeboards. To the left a small sash and to the
right a square bay window with 2 sashes, and above a canted bay
window. To the left a pair of sashes, with above a smaller pair of
sashes and to the right a datestone. To the north a lower 2 window
block, with a through eaves gable dormer to the left
