Disused chapel. c1830. Converted to barn c1900. Shuttered clay on flint plinth course; pantiled
roof One storey. Rectangular on plan. Former entrance in west wall altered by provision of
corrugated iron doors with opening cut through to eaves line above and blocked with
weatherboarding. North and south flanks each lit through 2 8/8 top- and bottom-hung split
casements with additional external cross bars. One similar window to east return with 4/4 glazing
bars. Projecting eaves with traces of soffit plaster remaining to south-west corner. Hipped roof
INTERIOR. Walls plastered and limewashed. Windows with splayed internal reveals. Roof of
3 king post trusses, that to centre with raised tie beam; one tier of butt purlins. Notable as survival
of temporary chapel and rare building material. Mill Farmhouse is not included.
