Detached house, formerly rectory. C18 with C19 additions. Ham stone ashlar; hipped plain clay tiled roofs with stone
slate base courses, part with Mansard roof; stone slab and brick chimney stacks. 'L'-plan; two storeys with attics;
west elevation 1+3+2 bays. Plinth, upper cill band, eaves course, rusticated quoins; sash windows in architraves with
keystones, to 3 bay section 6-pane above, and 12-pane lower bays 1 and 2; to the north bay, which has a swept coping to
parapet hiding a lean-to, a 12-pane window at mezzanine level: to the south-West projecting wing of 2 bays are 9-pane
sashes above and 6-pane sashes in hipped-roofed attic dormers, and below a C19 4-light mullioned and transomed square
bay window with flat roof behind parapet: across the angle formed by the south-west projection an angled flat-roofed
porch with 6-panel door having plain architrave, with semi-circular arched sidelights, and cornice and low plain
parapet masking flat roof: blind windows in return of south-west wing; further single- storey extension to north with
3-light chamfer-mullioned window. Several extensions on east side, of various Clq dates. Interior features a mid C18
staircase, several C18 doors and doorcases and one C18 panelled room, also a number of Regency and later features.
