Cottage in row. C18. Ham stone coursed rubble, ashlar dressings; several courses brick to head of wall suggesting
former thatch, now double Roman clay tiled roof, between stepped coped gables; brick end chimney stacks. Two storeys, 2
bays. Below, a 3-light and a 2-light hollow-chamfered mullioned window, without labels; above two 2-light timber
casements of early pattern with continuous timber plate over; all windows with rectangular-leaded panes and iron-framed
opening lights: between bays a doorway with balection mould surround, which could be a C19 insertion, and door with
ovolo moulding which could be a late C17/early C18 door adopted: attached to front wall a cast iron water pump,
complete with handle, with cast iron trough set on brick base. Interior not seen. Reputed to be a row of former flax
sheds.
