Gatehouse and wall. c.1880. Coursed rusticated sandstone. Hipped Welsh slate roof
with iron cresting. Two storeys, one bay. Double board door with iron strap hinges
in pointed-arch, roll-moulded and chamfered doorway. First floor band. Recessed
central panel with coat of arms. Wall to right approximately 13 ft high with coping
joins gatehouse to wall flanking Garden Cottage (qv).
