4 terraced houses. Early C19; Number 12, refaced late C19. Yellow
stock brick; number 10 with painted ground floor. Number 12,
stuccoed with channelled basement, ground and first floor. 3
storeys and basements 2 windows each.
Number 10 - doorcase of pilasters supporting reeded head;
patterned fanlight and later approached by steps. Round-arched
ground floor window with C20 glazing. Upper floors with gauged
brick flat arches to recessed sashes. Parapet.
Number 12 - entrance with keystone and projecting cornice hood,
supported on enriched brackets, which continues across plate
glass shop window and terminates with a similar bracket support.
Doorway with fanlight and panelled door approached by steps.
First floor casements in basher-arched recesses with enriched
surrounds and having a sill band with scallop-shell stops at
angles. Cornice and blocking course with enriched bracket stops.
Numbers 14 and 16 - round-arched entrances approached by steps;
doorways with fanlight and later doors. Round-arched ground floor
sashes. Upper floors with gauged brick flat arches and recessed
sashes. Parapets. All interiors believed to retain some original
features. Attached cast iron railings with spearhead finials
except number 12 with fleur-de-lis finials to areas.
