Uploader's Comments

The Orangery has been used for many things including a zoological garden, a school, ( George Gissing, the Wakefield novelist, received part of his education here), a burial place and a public bathhouse. The Orangery is a unique building, now owned by Beam, (formerly Public Arts). Beam is an arts, architecture and learning organisation.
