House. C15 cruck framed cottage with later C15 addition, with C18 and C19 alterations. Timber framed, red brick nogging, some rubble. Thatch roof. Single ridge red brick stack. Rubble plinth in parts. Late C15 gable end to road of two storeys with first floor jetty, two bays. Doorway with plank door, to the right is a single glazing bar Yorkshire sash with single plank shutter. Above is a single smaller similar sash. This front with close studding. The right/south front with similar studding to the left has, to the mid C15 right, a single tripartite glazing bar casement, a doorway with plank door and trellis porch and on the far right a single similar casement. Above is a single small casement with single small glazing bar Yorkshire sash to the right. Over the casement is a single eyebrow dormer with single long and narrow Yorkshire sash. Further remains of timber frame include a single post, a single rail and wall plate. The left/north front with similar close studding to the right has two small glazing bar casements and to the left a single tripartite Yorkshire sash. Above are two glazing bar Yorkshire sashes and to the left a single window opening. Further remains of timber frame include a single post, two rails and wall plate.

Interior: three crucks with spurs, purlins and curved wind braces. Chamfered and other beams some with pyramid stops. Interior not inspected at this time. Tree ring dating analysis has been carried out on samples of the timber frame and the dates c.1454 and c.1490 have been deduced for the various builds.
