Boundary walls and gateways. 1866, possibly by Robert C. Bennett. Squared boasted Ham stone rubble, ashlar copings and
piers. Walls vary between between about 1.75 and 3 metres high, with piers at intervals on top, with cast iron railings
between having trefoil decoration between standards with urn finials: church and manse gates set together, at right
angles to each other, thus sharing 3 gabletted piers, C20 timber gates between: towards north end of church wall a low
chamfered segmental-arched gateway with C20 wrot-iron gate: plain gate piers at south end for driveway to manse, no
gate: former railings now removed from manse wall. The whole contributing greatly to the setting of the Manse (q.v) and
the U.R. Church (q.v) and the streetscene generally.
