A Grade II Listed Building in Wakefield North, Wakefield

Tammy Hall, Cliff Parade

Uploader's Comments

Tammy Hall, a large building erected for the sale of a special locally produced worsted cloth in the 1770’s.
After various other users in the mid nineteenth century, the building was purchased by the Corporation in 1876 and was altered and refaced to provide a Borough Police Station and Fire Station. It is now part of the Magistrates Court.
